When you need to synchronize Salesforce data through MultiSync Made Easy, setting up Salesforce API authentication is an important first step. It allows the app to securely access the Salesforce data required for synchronization.
This guide explains how to create the required authentication settings in Salesforce and configure them in MultiSync Made Easy. Using a Salesforce ETL tool can also make moving and managing data easier when working with multiple systems.

Then scroll down to the API (Enable OAuth Settings) section and enable it. Next, enter the Callback URL.
Note: The Callback URL means you need to copy the callback/redirect URL from the Salesforce org where you want to authenticate and paste it here.

After that, go to OAuth Scopes and select the required scopes:
Then enable Client Credentials Flow and click Create.

By completing these steps, you can successfully configure Salesforce API authentication in MultiSync Made Easy and give the app the required access to work with your Salesforce data.
Once authentication is completed, you can move forward with importing, mapping, validating, and synchronizing records, making the overall data synchronization process easier to manage.
New to automation with MultiSync? You're not alone. Here are some answers to common questions about how MultiSync works.
Authentication can fail because of incorrect client credentials, callback URLs, OAuth settings, permissions, or login restrictions. Checking the connected app configuration and Salesforce login history can help identify the issue.
Yes. ETL and middleware tools generally use Salesforce APIs to read, create, update, or synchronize data. The specific API used can depend on the type and volume of data being processed.
Consider data volume, transformations, scheduling, error handling, mapping, authentication, API usage, and whether you need one-time migration or ongoing synchronization. These requirements can help narrow down the right tool.
Yes. Integration tools can connect Salesforce with external systems and automate data movement. Depending on your setup, you can schedule transfers, transform data, map fields, and handle errors without moving everything manually.
